I am a small town, farm girl from southern Oregon (and yes, in case you are wondering…I do LOVE cowboy hats and boots and driving a tractor!). Presently, I joyfully reside in beautiful southwestern Ontario, Canada (where my husband is from).  I get to love 2 beautiful children and a super awesome husband every single day.  I am a cancer survivor (and I can honestly say every day truly is a gift!). I love Jesus, animals (especially horses, dogs and cows), reading and all things outdoors! Camping, watching the sun come up, backyard BBQs, and running are a few of my favorite things to do on this earth!

My husband and I are chronic jokers.  We feel life is always better when you’re laughing together and a healthy dose of humor IS the best way to get through this crazy life!  We have truly lived through some of the best of times and some of the worst of times.  Some of our life adventures have left us with devastating loss and sacrifices that have all but consumed us while others have gifted sweet victory.  One key to making the best of our life adventures, whether we are laughing, crying or all of thee above is to remember we are in it together.  Same team always.

What’s my purpose? Why blog? Why now? For years, through the valleys and on the mountain tops of this life, I have been soul searching and asking God, “What is my purpose?”  You have one chance to live a life of love.  I believe it is important to choose joy and love every single day, be a blessing not a curse, and yes it is a choice!  If I can inspire even one person to never give up, to never lose hope then I have served my purpose.  If I can bring a smile to your face through writing about my everyday adventures (or misadventures, in some cases   😉 ) then I have served my purpose. God gave my husband and me a story and it’s a wild one filled with struggles, trials, triumphs, and sweet, sweet victories.  We feel called to share our story, our lives for His glory. One of my goals is to inspire, encourage and motivate you to live each day to the very fullest by filling your heart with much love, joy and laughter!
